Ragas of the Desert is a concert of Indian Classical and Folk Music led by the Grammy Award winner Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on slide guitar. He is joined by Subhen Chatterjee on tabla; and the Manganiyars, a group of folk musicians from Rajasthan.

Ragas of the Desert will also feature collaborations between Vishwa Mohan Bhatt with South Africa`s own slide guitar sensation Hannes Coetzee (at the Cape Town concert), and with multi-instrumentalist Pops Mohamed on the kora (at the Johannesburg concert).

Jo'burg show is this Sunday at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City.
