Works just fine. Actually a surprisingly good mix - a couple of room mics? The keys are almost not there though.

Works just fine. Actually a surprisingly good mix - a couple of room mics? The keys are almost not there though.

no, it was all recorded in separate tracks into logic (using 1818vsl which dbls as a live mixer) and then re-mixed in studio, rather just a balance more than anything.

the girl on keys played pretty much a pad through the songs (not sure why) then some hammond so just gave enough space for her.

yeh, variax into pod hd500, not needing anything else, i leave the amps in the trailer ?

we have a simple plug&play live setup, all in-ears, very little stage sound, just enough to not feedback at loud places.

where did maryke hit herself??? i didnt even notice? what time of the vid?

0:32 - she's spinning her sticks and the angle is wrong as she brings them down for the first snare hit, slices her right cheek. You can just see her flinch as the scene changes.

Sean's right though - she didn't miss a beat or note. That's the impressive bit. I'd have been killing myself laughing, unable to sing and probably with some haphazard timekeeping. That's why I avoid flashy stuff on the drums. ?

ill check the separate feeds, i have her from the side too i think, she might have just moved with the music rather than hit herself, but if she did thats going on youtube....erm...again ?

ok, so, she didnt hit herself, its just the way it looked like when
she moved her head like that.

from the side her sticks are no where near her head/face. 8)

What are you using to edit your videos to upload to youtube?

I need a program to edit videos i have to upload them myself. This of course isnt guitar related unfortunately, just something i need for me! ?

adobe premiere. i prefer sony vegas way more but no mac version yet.if youre on a pc i would recommend vegas. i think they sell for about $500 or so.

Yeah, you need the link that looks like this:

Not the the youtu.be link (which is a shortened URL). Also note that if you have a url that starts with "https:" (secure) it also won't embed, but that's easily fixed simply by deleting the "s".
