Top 30 Guitar Riffs 2000s (According to some dude)

Stumbled onto this video:

I fall into the "man they just don't make good music any more" thought-trap quite often (and mostly willingly), but some of these riffs seems genuinely good to me.
2000-2010 was, to me, a largely overlooked decade in popular-ish music and I'm glad to find someone that actually went through the trouble of collecting some of the better parts of it.

Ya, wouldn't be my top 30 but solid player, I enjoyed majority of the songs, good recording, gets a 'like' from me.

Me neither! ? I guess bands nowadays are too much of here-today-gone-tomorrow to keep up...

imho there are some good riffs here - even though I only recognise about 5 of them ?
Know and like Tenacious D - The Metal very much
Maybe we don't know most of them because guitar music not as prevalent as it used to be?

I'm often delighted to hear new, exciting music, but not surprised. There is so much music available these days and plenty of good new stuff being released all the time.
OK... I'm not a rocker, or not exclusively or don't identify myself in that way (EG I listen to Led Zeppelin but not to Bon Jovi). I also don't insist on guitars in the music I listen to, but I think that statistically I probably lean that way.
Plenty of new stuff around all the time. For me this is a great time to be discovering new music. When I say "new" I don't just mean "released in the 70s and I've only just got around to listening to it" I mean "recently released". Plenty of it - there's not enough hours in the day.
