Two thing;
1) As we know Winter time the air becomes dryer (on the highlands) and tends to help thing build up more electrostatic... such as on your person and plastic bits such as pickguards
2) if your neighbors electric fence emits RF that interferes with your appliances you can approach him to have it checked and I think there bylaws that can be used as a stick, if he is "hardegat".
- Of course you have to prove it's his fence by asking him to switch off to prove the fault
Edit : ~ just noticed that you are in the Cape
Yep, the air is plenty moist in the cape this time of year, gosh its been raining the whole week.
Im almost sure it is electric fence - at the college i used to work at , whenever we would hear them clicks, I had to ask one of the groundsmen to go and switch it off and then we would be ready to record.
Hmmm so do you guys think the SAMSON unit will help with these alleged clickedy clicks? or just hum and noise and surge?
