Just checked 'em out, thanks for sharing ?
I think there was a minor (dismal) mistake in the delay videos, where he set them to "16th's". I'm sure they were 8th's?
Regarding the kick enhancement technique, It's a really helpful one but in 2009 (?) you could achieve this easier by using a sample replacer like Drumagog (you don't have to replace/sample 100% too), you wouldn't need to worry about gates and setting any attacks or releases which could fail due to a fairly inconsistent (depending on the drummers playing and style) signal as it detects the peaks of the signal so a threshold/resolution knob is all you need. Doesn't guarantee every hit but is more consistent. ?
Don't get me wrong I'd love to have been born back in the analogue days (as I'm pro analogue) and get really hands on, but I cannot help but take advantage of the speedy technology available.
(Especially if you sit in front of a PC for 10-14 hours a day)
Great point about the delays being the same/similar. So obvious yet I never really thought about that. ???
Thanks again for posting

That kick enhancement one with the tone generator is my lifesaver at the moment.. i made a bit of a hash with a drum track i recorded (jip, no one is perfect) and ended up with a very bright kick but no depth.. the tone gen realy helped there.. call me old fashioned, but i dont like samples.. did the sample thing a while ago and it just didnt work for me, and im too lazy to go look for a smaple thatll work, so im one of those old analog throwbacks..

haha I too hate looking for samples! And if I actually do they sound too consistent and might as well be midi. As Much as I don't like to 'fix' drums, I cannot bare poor drumming (which is what I get often).
So instead I make my own samples (10-20 hits per drum piece) of the drumkit being used in the session of all different velocities (hard hits to ghost notes to flams).
The cool thing about drumagog is that it recognizes dynamics and applies the closest matching velocity sample it has accordingly. That way it still sounds human.
The other plus is the "mix" knob where you can set how wet you want the sample to be applied so you still get the natural kick coming through if set on less than 50% but with the other 50% enhancement of the sample (and/or tone build in tone generator).
Perhaps I should post an example If I can find the time lol.

youre giving me more and more reason to con a mate to get drumagog
whats nice, is that i do most of the drumming for projects.. if the drummer doesnt cut it, i just play the part.

yeah I know what you mean about re-recording sloppy takes ?

Best sounding drum samples in the world... hands down...
do what I do... use those 2 and find a medium between acoustic VS Samples, bob's your uncle...
Alternatively, If you have EZdrummer or Superior 2 or BFD you can actually just midi-out into those and shape your drums how you want them to sound and fix them up via midi, without the hassles of phasing and hours of editing...
