So anyone have any news on this amp?
I see it goes for around $400.
What do you think are the chances of getting it in SA and what do you think it would go for?
I'd really like to listen to it.

Not available locally. I asked Bothner's to get one for me to look at and they special ordered it from the Peavey distributors, who said they would import one. After three months of waiting I came across the Vox AC15 and bought that instead. Same distributor, so I didn't really get a chance to rub their noses in it. ? Must be about nine months ago now and it still hasn't shown up... Still like to hear one.
Interesting amp - low power, class A valve, full size speaker (12"), you can use a variety of output tubes to change the tone and power rating and it has a built in amp attenuator. All at less than half the price of the closest competitor. Nice little studio or full featured practice amp. Reviews have it as a decent amp and amazing for the price. Might make a good solid workhorse like the Classic 30 did.

That's what I feared!
I'm looking for a dual purpose amp, something a bit smaller and lighter than my HRD to take to practice and small gigs, and I'd like it to also sound good with the HRD in stereo.
I like the fact the windsor has the recording output and power soak which would be useful when recording at home.
Oh well, I should probably be patient and see what I can pick up second hand.

The Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue should be here by now - I just don't know what the price is going to be. Princetons are great recording amps. There's the Laney Lionheart, but the one I saw was over R10K! Someone mentioned picking up one much cheaper, but I think that may have been a one off, judging from overseas prices.

Allan, i would like something small like this, with a power soak, but my problem is that this amp does not offer 2 channels ?

The Windsor is a single channel (like most similar small amps), but has the "boost" switch which gives the amp a kick (similar to the Classic 30's boost).
