Tortex Jazz IIIs are brilliant. Never found a pick like them. But they wear like crazy. If I'm using one pick the whole time, it won't last two weeks. Luckily Bothners is charging reasonable money for them. But when I bought a few from Marshall, whoowee! That was insane. I was making plans to get them sent from the USA by the hundred if I was going to pay that kind of money.

I remember my old guitarist once tidied his bedroom (when he was still living at his parents place) and arrived at church one Sunday morning boasting at how many plecs he'd 'rediscovered' in the process of tidying his room. When the rest of the church band came and reclaimed all the ones that he'd actually borrowed, he was left standing with one plectrum! Hehe!
I find that if I buy one or two, they all vanish quickly, where as if I buy 10 or more, either I never loose them, or they breed, as I still have the number I bought 3 months back!
I used to love sharkfins, and found them easiest to use without loosing the plec from my fingers, but nowadays, I prefer the feel of the Tortex, but do still loose them whilst playing! I keep considering using a dab of Prestik on them so they don't slip out my hand whilst playing!

G!
