Ah so i've recently discovered the GHS fast-fret string lubricant which is supposed to conserve and lubricate your strings meaning longer-lasting strings and a smoother playing experience. But apparently it also nourishes your fret-board...which worries me as i've recently lemon-oiled my axe and i'm not sure i want more and different liquids soaking into my fret-board. Has anyone here been using it for a while? what do you think?

Ive got some in my acoustic case, its been in there for around 7 years or so, never had any issues but then Ive never used anything else on the acoustic frets

I haven't used GHS fast fret but my personal favourite is the Dunlop Ultraglide string conditioner...and it has a small applicator on the top that allows for application directly on the string with minimal or no application on the fretboard.
