In fact, this girl got such a good following over this video, that Jamiroquai themselves asked her to 'guest bass' whilst they were on tour in central america!

And the best thing is she's only been playing for three years!!!

Look, the whole comment about a capo is a joke (not sure why it's necessary to point that out) but let's not delude ourselves into thinking that Keith Richards is attractive. He may be many awesome things, but attractive sure ain't one of them.

Naah, it only makes you MORE attractive. Where you end up after the enhancement still depends on the base you start from. Imagine how butt-ugly he would have been if he didn't own hundreds of guitars..... ?

Is it possible to get more ugly than he is? This theory falls down because if you compare what he looked like in the early 60's with hardly any guitars and what he looks like now, it seems as though more guitars equals butt-ugly. I better control my GAS ?

Or as I suggested, his usage of capos, like you and Singe pointed out, offsets the attractiveness that his plethora of guitars bestows upon him. ?

The reason to push the capo thing, D, is that there are many guitar players who genuinely hold this prejudice (that using a capo is to compensate for lack of skill) and then wonder why they can't get their fully-fingered versions to sound the same (you use capos to maintain the open strings and particular chord voicings in different keys).

like a 6 foot model remarked when asked by a reporter what she saw in her very short boyfriend...she answered "well he's really tall when he stands on his wallet"

as for why women find men with guitars attractive ......... the way i look at this is ....

if they a famous man with a guitar ........... then thats access to the best parties, and all "the perks" that come with it , and he'd be a 'celeb and usually wealthy .. understandably not a bad catch....... ?

and if they an unfamous man with a guitar... then it means he will have band practise nights or hours rehearsing in his 'man cave" which gives her plenty of "me" time to pursue her interests ..... many find that very attractive ?

oh and of course lets not be forgetting guitarists are just the best people .. but of course we all know that ?

Sure, there are also guitar players who genuinely believe that it would be better to gouge your eyes out than to play an Ibanez or that a guitar is a better guitar because it has a certain name on the headstock. I think those are some of the most ridiculous claims ever made so I often quote them in jest. ?

I look at it from the other angle....I have always found a guitar in the hands of a woman very attractive. I mean, for me, this Gibson looks faaar more attractive in her hands than in Keef's hands...Not ?
