You know, it can get you down sometimes. That is when things like this start happening and you dont have a clue and there is probably something quite damned simple the matter but you cant work it out hey. Now, yesterday I decided I wanted to download some music and so I open my itunes and lo and behold I go to the itunes store and it just hangs there with the horizontal barber pole animating away and nothing else happening. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still does that. Any ideas?

Tried checking your proxy settings?
I have to set up for a proxy for work use. When I get home and I want to use I-tunes I have to turn the proxy off.

Yes thanks Bob. That is my situation as well. But it wasnt the problem. You know, I scratched around like crazy here for a whil and then I uninstalled a whole lot of stuff and I dont even know what some of it was. And there it was all of a sudden and it was working. But no, not all of a sudden. First i reset the network on my laptop.
