Touch controls in stead of control knobs

Hmmm, OK. Trying to decide how I feel about this. Novel idea though.

I like that you could use this to create super-clean looking electric guitars. But it'll be a neat trick if they can get this bug free for those of use who use our controls mid song. Despite the ways they've tried to deal with problems, I can still easily see a total volume drop or a total max-out happening by accident - something that's easy to avoid with knobs.

If they play with it long enough, I'm sure they'll get it to work though.

Adds a layer of complexity that isn't needed. The beauty of current systems is they are simple, passive, robust and (mostly) give a clear indication of where things are set - all features that a touch system cannot offer.

Good point. It seems a bit like a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.
