Ever watched a Youtube test on a new guitar?

The guy goes yaddayadda for a minute, then starts playing it,
and in 5 seconds you KNOW that he can't really play...

And it's all in the wrist...

Same with drummers...talk about the new kit, then start playing....
No....sorry...

A guy who's TRYING to play has a stiff wrist.

The guy who CAN play has a loose relaxed wrist and isn't gripping
his plectrum/stick like the last lifebelt on the Titanic.

Try it for yourself...turn the sound off and go looking for guitar/drum reviews on Youtube,,,

Not to mention most of their bends are whack and vibrato invokes images of poo. Kind of why I prefer reviews done by the UK guitar mags

I listen, rather than watch, but yeah - it only takes a few seconds.

Those guys always make me laugh. They talk a good game about how good the item being tested is, then proceed to make it sound bad.

haha, that s me. I made a demo vid once(Ok all of them) and uploaded et al. When I watched it a week later I couldn't believe how much reverb was present. it flipping sucked. Once I realised I'd shifted the guitar on and couldn't redo it. ???

oh well...
