Aw thanks guys. I am not going to pretend otherwise, I also really enjoy these tracks and similar (better) music.
I find all too often a friend will play me a song and make an excuse for it at the same time. The old "keep in mind I'd only been playing for three months" or the "we only had two days in the studio, so it's a bit rough" or whatever it may be. This I feel is almost the opposite of that. I remember working really hard on writing and recording these songs and I'm very proud of what we made (although there are certainly little glitches and slips, that I think bother only the two of us).

Nice man! really liked the second track, you guys play tight together.
Did you track it live together or overdubbed?
We really wanted to record together, because both songs feature very subtle tempo shifts and such that we just had to feel and get used to.
We didn't have the resources to record simultaneously tho, so we made the click track, and Paul tracked a dummy track to that. I then tracked my part over his dummy track.
I and he then did his over my take.
I don't recall all of the finer details, but I remember that we tried to play it through in full, rather than record bits and then piece it together...again, for the same dynamics reason.
In the end this worked very nicely for most of it, but we were still a little upset with the runs starting at 45 and 55 seconds on track 4. We felt those should have been tighther and struggled to get the feel and swing we wanted there without the other one playing live next to us.
