Hey guys this is the other recording I did of my old house-mate Johan Nel at the end of last year - I had thoiught i lost all the files and just found them other day and decided to finish edit/mixing them
For those interested, like the previous song the nylon string was recorded with the Mid-side stereo configuration - really becoming a fan of this, you can really get a nice wide stereo image without any phase problemas!

Feedback would be appreciated, its Really hard to know how something rreally sounds after you have been listening it on repeat for 2 days editing and mixing....
Too much Reverb? i did put quite alot but at the time it made sense for the track, now i just dont know anymore!

Too long. Too much "doo doo dah doo". Cut it down to 3 minutes or so and it could be pretty good, but at the moment it's too long with too much unmerited repetition and so it gets boring to listen to as it goes on. You might also consider rearranging the parts of the song so that the part beginning "my lover, you an I..." comes earlier in the song and breaks the repetition up a bit.

I agree with you, problem is that it is not my song, I just recorded, edited and mixed it for a friend (the guy singing) So i dont have such creative control over it.... ☹ maybe i will speak to him tho.
