I've been meaning to upload this stuff for the last two weeks. Been a bit busy though... :-[

It was a good show with some cool stuff on show as usual. ? What was not usual was how much smaller it was than usual. It was still huge, but just not as huge as before. Europe is definitely not in a good place financially. ☹

Eventide H9. You can see how much smaller it is than the 'factor boxes. Very cool.

Grossman Isolation Cab. Super impressive and effective. They had a roaring 100W tube head running through it. When he lifted the lid I nearly lost my eyebrows and half of my face. Apparently good for a -30dB reduction. On my to buy list now... ?

Stupidly amoeba-sized tiny pedals from a Chinese company whose name escapes me. Taking small pedals a bit too far... :? And tiny amps further than that. ? And copying a speaker cab that isn't the greatest template to start from... Oh and their reverb pedal was called the Dirty Wind. ? I think something was lost in translation.

Cool paisley/ snakeskin-look covered PRS amp that is most definitely not a product of any animal, either natural or imaginary.

Slightly weird yet strangely interesting Neil Schon Signature PRS...

Interesting acoustic amps and PA systems using diffuser technology from German company Benk Cube. Impressive sounding stuff.

Calling Chad! Some cool guitars and basses from Czech company Mayones. Fretless, scalloped, fan frets et al. ?

I was under the impression that Music Connection brought them in? Not so?

I hope they are immitation snakeskins and not real ones.
There is absolutely no reason to use snankeskins to cover amp or anything for that matter. I supose we can be lucky they did not use Rhino hide !
We in South Africa should know this and protect our rapidly disappearing wild life. I hope you mentioned this to them.

It's very far from being real snakesin. If you look at it closely it's sort of a snakeskin/ paisley pattern hybrid. Most unusual. The wood panels are also quilted maple with a blue matteo finish like on some of their guitars. It IS cool and is NOT real snakeskin.

...and you know what? Nothing here really grabs me in a must-have way. A few things definitely worth checking out, but no immediate pangs of GAS.
