Wow Evo, are you serious? ???
About which part in particular?
@Bob - wtf has driving on the wrong side got to do with me smoking outside and some fktard approaches me with that self proclaimed messiah message? Your argument is crap because it doesn't even remotely relate. I will not bow to you and your views. I do not actually impose my smoking on others unless they encroach the area I chose to smoke in, which was and will always be quite a distance away. That is what my post said so yours is ridiculous as are most of your views pertaining to this subject.
If a restaurant has a smoking section, then I will smoke in that section and won't move to the non-smoking section and light up. When a club caters to smoking, I will light up. If I notice a non smoker in my vicinity, I won't and do not blow the smoke in their general direction, nor do I do so to a smoker. I understand you misinterpreted my view of courtesy but thats ok. It happens.. often. You have your views, I have mine. When you met me and I was smoking outside... did I blow it in your face? Did I stand a small distance away or was I right on top of you humping your leg and whispering sweet nothings in your ear while enjoying a cigarette at the same time?
Most of you non smokers get flues and colds... I don't. Not for many years now. So yeah, smoking will kill me eventually and I've accepted that fate. You can get your diseases and accidently impose them on other people without realising it because you don't know you are sick yet. I hate these sick retards that visit other people and spread their germs knowing full well they are sick. But I do not wish for them to die while I smile. When I stopped smoking I could smell everything. And I really mean everything. I could smell sickness, encroaching death, body odour that's unnoticeable to others but frikkin reeks to me, womens cycles, sadness lies and other things you will not believe or possibly be able to comprehend. For my own sanity, I resumed smoking and absolutely enjoyed it... again! I enjoy different tobaccos as much as I enjoy superior coffee and savour the taste of both. My Peterson pipe broke so I had to get some other one to replace it. My pipe I smoke in the privacy of my home so that I can enjoy every second of it. My choice. I love cigars too - some taste good, others vile. When round two approaches I pick the ones that tasted awesome.
When people visit me and I can see the smoke start to mushroom cloud them, I move to the door. Unless they smoke too then I look at other things. That is being courteous. It is my house/shack/box/tree nonetheless. If the non smoker notices this act and proceeds with "Don't worry about it"... then that is mutual courtesy and I still do not blow the smoke around them or up their ass.. in any form. If I go to a non smoker's house I do not light up indoors. I do not ask them to keep me company as I smoke outside either. I'm almost a big boy now, can find my own way around and do not need a human presence to get directions around someones yard.
If a venue is a smoking venue, then that is their choice and you should respect their decisions... they did make them after all.
@epictring: "Evo you are offending those who have had first hand experience with the loss of close ones due to secondhand smoking"
Oh of course, because I haven't lost any family members. Didn't lose a dad from a heart attack (he smoked too), neither did I lose a grandpappy from cancer (he also smoked). Didn't lose a brother from an overdose of pinks (also a smoker). I don't see another brother in the process of dying through drug abuse (also a smoker). Didn't lose my best friend (also a smoker) as he saved 3 surfers stuck between the rocks, went back for his other surfer friend and they both drowned on the way back. Nah uh... not me. Didn't lose an uncle (smoker) to heart attack either... did have parkinsons and alzheimers though. That must have been it. Forgetfully tremored himself to death. All of these people had friends who smoked too, we'll just blame those friends then... because they smoked around them. I could mention more family members who have died... but its not necessary. It is so easy to blame deaths on second hand smoke and say someone is offending another because of their unrighteous comments - cars should be blamed too. Bikes, trucks, lawnmowers, busses, braaing our food, lighting the wood and charcoals in braais. The chemicals in your body from medication prescribed by the healthiest individuals in the world... oh wait, they're not. I could go on but its pointless... you didn't get this far.
