For those of you who shop at Toms Sandton and know Justin Rae, one of the salesman...his band Chromium are opening the show.

Well done Justin.

It was great! The venue was alright in the end and they played such a cool set. Mostly old stuff, some of my favourites! The crowd was a little dead, but we had fun anyway. Should have bought tickets for tonight as well!

Hammeron

Cool! Yea, we see you on saturday then....Metal up your a..........!!

flatfourfan

Seeing them on Saterday........I heard also that the set they'll be playing will be a lot of old stuff, which suits me down to the T.

Late at night all systems go
Come, see the show
We do our best, you're the rest
You make it real you know

Looking forward to seeing Chromium as well.

Got a kirk hammet pick from the man himself.

So awesome was right in front ?

Domin0

It was absolutely incredible! ?
Chromium and Pestroy were rather meh in my opinion, but Metallica destroyed! the intro to One ? just great

evolucian

Left me all emo and stuff. Best damn thing I've ever seen in my life. To have my favourite track in the encore.. oooooooh. Battery!!! Forget the frikkin intro and just jump into it... wooooooooooooooow!

I liked Pestroy's interludes between their tracks, but thats about it. Was just waiting and waiting and waiting for the good, the bad and the ugly to start. OMG!!!!

symbolofmylife

Joe Moore wrote :-[ I was there 8) , Great show ! Saw a fair number of people absolutely motherlessly drunk and passed out by 6.30 pm :-\ wtf ?

As a rule I avoid alcohol at live events. I really cannot see why anyone would want to watch any show that they've paid for drunk?
But last night in JHB was bloody good!!!!
