Depends on what system you listen to it. He combines a very deep, low clean with a crunchy, compressed Ampeg-style drive tone. On smaller systems you get only the crunchy bit and it lacks depth.
The
Astoria Live in particular - the mix was very different between the stereo and the 5.1. The Stereo mix is very flat and bass shy.
