Hi all, just a very subjective question , could the Axe Fx unit be compared to the 11 Rack unit in terms of sonic possibilities, workmanship etc ? Just wondering,thanks..

Axe FX is considerably higher up the food chain than the Eleven Rack. There's nothing in between the two, but the capabilities of the AxeFX II are so far in advance of the Eleven Rack, it's not funny.
When the AxeFx II came out, I looked at it in depth and figured that with the foot controller, it could replace my whole guitar rig aside from the Synth stuff - that's Eleven Rack, GT Pro and G-System. Possibly even my Aura Spectrum too. It would also still be more powerful than my current rig too. That would help me scale down the guitar side of my rack by 3U (or rather, open up some space for some other gear ?), from 5U to 2U.
The only downsides are price and, for a lot of folk, complexity (I figure If you find a Boss GT or NI Guitar Rig too complex, the AxeFX is going to be a nightmare for you).
