Good Stuff
But you seem to have a NGD at least once a week ?
Thanks for all the replies guys.... And as for a new guitar every week, well its a tough job, but someones got to keep GFSA ticking over with new gear! ?
In all seriousness though, I'm currently sitting in a somewhat blessed position where I've been able to clear out a lot of stuff from the house, and raise some cash in the process! I've also been somewhat blessed to pick up so many great deals too. I think I will be thinning out the herd soon though, but trying to decide which of my beauts is to go is like trying to decide which kid I love more!
The PRS is definitely going, but other than that, how do you decide? One day i think 'the 'Triggs' should go as its the least versatile of the bunch, but then I just look at it, and can't bring myself to sell it. I've also tuned it to G, so its more useful in its own niche now. Then I go through the same for the Gretsch... The wife hates it, so would be happy if that one disappeared, but I love how it plays. The LTD is definitely staying, unless it was being sold to fund something very special, and the Ibanez looks stunning, and is just what I've been looking for, so it would be difficult to part with, but its also probably the least 'special' of the bunch!
This is the problem with being a Muso, I tend to think with my heart first, then my head eventually tries to butt in with 'common sense'!
My son is rather pleased to be the recipient of that washburn though, so he's happy!
Anyway, unless something special, or a unique bargain comes along, I think this will be the last guitar to join the fold for a good while. The only thing to sort now is an amp, and perhaps some pedals? That may or may not have to wait until we've sold the house though? Time will tell?
Regards
G!
