They say your chances of starting up again after a year are much less.
Also happens to be mine and the missus anniversary today 8)

giving up the demon tobacco is prolly one of the best decisions I ever made in my life...5 years now and counting , some days I still get very tempted though so be vigilant..the demon is always lurking ...similar to alcoholism I reckon.......
I am doing physical things now (open water swimming) that I could never do as a smoker .... and almost as though my lungs are repairing the damage I did to them, I smoked 26 years ....
never EVER start again..its a crap habit and it costs loads too.....

Good luck ez, some days are harder than others. But its worth it.
Its nice being able to go some place and not wonder where I can smoke... And its not getting any easier with the new smoking laws coming in...
Money wise, I can honestly say I don't see the money I am saving, but I am sure its helping somewhere.
Between me and my wife, we where spending just short of R2K a month ☹
