So, Crafty is now the proud new owner of a Road-Worn Marshall S80 Valvestate Combo.
He came and picked it up last night. The amp was switched on and cranked up for the first time in 2 years and Voila! Still works. Crafty will sort out the dry connections and dicey pots and it should be as good as new.

Very excited about this amp. It has some work to do, but for the price, I have nothing to complain about.
I have found another issue on it, but as Arno said, I am the DIY type, so this will not take too long to sort out. (My other hobby is building audiophile amps for music using same tech as this. Valves on preamp stage, and solid state on power stage)

You know that feeling you had when your folks showed you the ocean for the 1st time? That is the same feeling I have with this amp. like a 4 year old child with a brand new toy ?
Once I have everything fixed and serviced, I too will post some soundcloud clips. Just have to get into practice again. It's been 15 year or something like that since I had a guitar.
