Cioks Power Supplies?

Hi Guys,

Over the last few months I've been getting several mails and calls from guys saying I'm listed as the Cioks dealer in SA. Sadly I'm not, yes, I did a once off deal on indent (buyers paid up front for their units to get better pricing, match European Street), but the problem is that Cioks require I buy 10 supplies at a time and to get better pricing I need to be a distributor, but need to buy 30 supplies at a time.

It's not my market, I'm not a musical distributor and I've tried to pass it on to other dealers and for a time Audio Boutique was going to take it over, before they went out of business. I still have big guys like Music Connection and TOMS calling me asking for them, but again, maybe 1 call month.

So to reiterate, I'm not the dealer, but I am happy, if enough of you are wanting a supply to stand as the middle man again and buy them on indent and hand the saving over to you if there is enough interest, just know, like I did last time, it's a once off deal. You'll be liable for severing should anything go wrong, though to date all the DC-10's I bought in are going strong and the company has been in business for 30+yrs.

Thanks, but I don't see why you should go through all the trouble to import a batch unless you want another one yourself.

But yeah - they are the best on the market. Expensive, but worth it. ?

No, no need for another, and personally if I did, I'd buy on-line! Honestly I don't think I can save too much off what these overseas sites are selling them for, the really saving is when you buy 30 units, at 10, which I did, sure there is a saving, but since they ship courier it's lost there.

I just wanted to put it out there like I've done before with Tube Depot and Tubes and More orders, I doubt there is that kind of demand, but since I fielded another mail today from another forum member I thought I'd explain it all here to avoid having to keep regurgitating the same lines ?
