When I got strap locks a while back, I had to change the screw/holder fitting as the strap lock mechanism wouldn't fit on the default Fender ones. The problem is that now the 'new' screws are coming undone. They where put in place temporary by me shoving a toothpick in the hole, but alas, this trick will no longer work and the screw keeps coming out. Any other suggestions? I'm reluctant to use glues and stuff, cause my Fender is my baby. I want a method that can be reversed

That's pretty common - the holes of the Fender are imperial, while Schaller uses metric. Best method is a single wooden dowel (I use hickory) and a dab of cold glue. Won't affect value and, you wouldn't ever need to undo it as you can just refit the Fender screws at any point and they'll make the holes larger again.

Thanks Alan. I'll see what I can get my hands on

I normally just use epoxy in the holes, once set the strap pin doen't move or unscrew itself or anything. ?
