I can say with absolute certainty that every brand has occasional issues. Some more than others, but they all have 'em now and again.
That is true, but we have a tremendous amount of gear between the members on the forum. It will be nice to see who has needed serious warranty work. Jacks fail, pots get scratchy, but who has had serious issues? Is it really worth paying nearly double for a guitar locally to get a warranty?
Slightly off-topic, but I have read some scary stories of "warranty" work done by Martin lately on the acoustic guitar forum. That is if they don't tell you it is your own fault through too much/little humidifying. Anyway, let's stick to electrics.
