Hello to all Capetonians and those who knows whereabout is the best live music in CT .
I am going to spend one week (21st-29th March ) in CT , and would like to check out some nice live club music ...rock,blues, jazz, whatever...

Long street is usually where its all at, several places along there?

Or if you're here on a Sunday night, you could take a look at whats on at the Kirstenbosch summer concerts? Not sure whats left in that regard?

Yeah dude, town is a good start.
There are a few places on the peninsula where you're more likely to find acoustic or folky kinda artists.

Depends what you're into.
My advice would be to hit long street when you arrive and pick up the LMG (live music Guide) for the time you are here, most bars on long street keep them
Then you'll have a pretty comprehensive list of what's going down.

Sunday evenings @ the Carnival Court Backpackers bar (aka Zanzibar) on Long Street usually has a bit of a blues jam going on. Nice vibe & the outside deck has a birds eye view of Long street, which can be very entertaining in itself ?
