Signed up and enjoying what I've managed to do so far - "knowledge is power" .
Signed up 2 weeks late so hopefully can catch up on the reading/videos at least.
Don't think I'll make any papers etc for this one though.

I did the Design: Creation of Artifacts in Society last year. It took 8 weeks and I designed a Wix website. I highly recommend it - but I wish I had rather designed a 3D object - looked like more fun! Then I started the Designing Online Education Courses which ironically enough got cancelled one week in. It simply crashed. I think there were too many people and they didn't have their logistics sorted. Both at Coursera. This teaching one looked very interesting - sorry that it was cancelled.
I have to say though that a lot of the courses seem pretty obscure. I wish there were more of the practical ones that you can actually apply afterwards. It seems tho' this form of education (MOOC) is very much on the rise so soon enough there'll be more.
Another thing - I'm not to sure about Peer to Peer marking. How honest it is. Anyone who would have been marked by me - thinking back - on the Online Teaching course would not have had a true assessment as I am not an expert - and would have been winging it amongst all those highly educated teachers in there ...
