Hi everyone.

Apologies for the late introduction.

I stay in Kempton Park. Have been playing since around the age of 12. Should be far better than I am for the amount of time I've been playing though. I haven't been playing for the past four years though due to work constraints and probably a good dollop of laziness. Actively looking to get back into it again considering that it was all I wanted to do for many years of my life.

I play almost exclusively metal, mostly melodic Swedish death and brutal black metal. Self-taught, so my theory is somewhat lacking ☹

Look forward to meeting people from the site and hopefully expanding myself musically and learning from what I see are some really accomplished musicians here.

No, I mean more specifically the fast, powerful, intense BM played by bands like Tsjuder, Immortal, Marduk, Gorgoroth rather than the more droning and primitive sound from Burzum, Darkthrone, certain Mayhem, etc.

I like both styles, but just find the potency of a really technically proficient, fast BM band alluring.
