I've been listening to this for a while now. I didn't find it that weird but it's pretty cool.

Two bassists, no six string. The rest of the band come from Taxi Violence and The Plastics.

What do you guys think about the two basses thing?

I think it's a whole package... more interesting than their respective bands imho.

It's definitely an interesting album and I enjoy listening to it. The thing I'm not entirely sold on is the two basses. Some interesting tones andd cool riffs but it sounds to me like the one bass is trying to be a guitar and that it's two basses for the sake of having two basses (but why the hell not, I suppose ? )

I love what Inge Beckman does with Lark but I'm a bit torn with Beast. The melodies she wrote at times unsettle my ears, shreaky highs.

Agreed, but then Inge is great live. My brother is in Lark with her and I have seen them many times, amazing energy and intensity.
