@ Vic: A Hammond B4? If you're just after the sound and not the real hardware, I can highly recommend Native Instrument's B4. I also love that sound.

The best Christmas present for me would be guitar lessons...and more time to play.

have a fabulous xmas... to you and your loved ones

TomCat

@Riaan...a Hammond would be great.... with separate Leslie cab. But ghee...these things are so bulky and HEAVY, but sound amaaaazing. Think "a Whiter shade of Pale" (Procol Harum)

I have unwrapped some of my presents already. And using them. And will be getting more and gonna take them in advance as well. I buy them wrap them and give them and receive them and unwrap them all myself. It's so lekker. For my wife and kids I buy little things because it's all about the thought that counts you know. I dont like this story that you see such joy in someone's eyes and face when you give them something really grand. Give yourself something grand then take a look in the mirror and you check joy and happiness like you not gonna see in another person. Then on Christmas day when we will have about 30 people over at my possie chowing my food and drinking my wine and opening up the little "thoughts that count" that I got them all, I will line up my presents and will be happy. Noone else is gonna buy them for me, ne?

RobK

You could combine the "though that counts" and the "present for me" into one expediture. Just buy the wife and kids all the stuff you want for yourself ?

I got my Laney Cub10 as an early present. Nothing I specifically want, but I'm sure that'll change ?

chris77

Aauw, thanks for asking. Whatever you okes want to get me is fine ?
But... I would like a bad ass Fender tube amp and more time to play. Time has been an issue for me lately. A ghostly midnight visit by SRV for a few blues lessons would also be welcome.

Ah hell... I'm going to be beyond cheesy by saying that being recommended this forum by Nick from SoundWorks in CT was already a great present.
Most of all (guitar related): more time and headspace to practice...

Tynan, my son, wants a RC20XL Looper or the Digitech equivalent, but can't make his mind up which to choose, both are in the same price range from my source, I am going to get him a girlfriend for Christmas if he does not choose soon. Maybe some comments from Forum members will help make up his mind ???

About possible girlfriends or the guitar gear? ?

Keira WitherKay wrote finding a 40 yr old ramirez under the tree would definitely be a high point of the festive season .........

A friend of mine just got his mitts on a 1973 ramirez.

Bob-Dubery

I will tell you what I DON'T want this Christmas.

Boney bloody M, that's what.
