LOL! Yeah, I know just what you mean... ?
It either has a good effect on people, or clayton was dreaming about being a guitarist - as most bassists do 8).
?
Its also , and im not sure if this is the right terminology, the most transparent noise machine i have ever played.
While making a godawful noise, each string remains audible on its own, making open chords really sing.
String or note separation. Transparent refers to the ability some drives have to make your guitar sound louder/grittier without altering the tone or dynamics at all - like a "more" button.
Im not sure if it is just my amp but it seems to really come to life after the amp has warmed up a bit, I mean at least 30 min of jamming.
It almost seems like the muff needs to warm up a bit too ???
Most analog gear takes a half hour or more to warm up and settle down - especially valve amps.
