Sounds really good ? Any idea when its coming out? from what I could see it appears to be 1 May? but I am sure it wont be cheap here at all ☹

No idea when it will be here.

This isn't an amp that I have on my wishlist seen as I already have its big brother, but I can tell that overseas it looks like they will sell for $699. I can also tell you from my experience when I bought my AFD, it was significantly cheaper than the converted dollar price at the time, so I don't reckon it will be badly priced here at all.

Really cool amp and it has very nice crunch sounds when those tubes breakup.

Very tasty. Not the prettiest Marshall ever, but really great tone. It'll be a winner unless it's overpriced.

must say that does sound yummy. found the simpler demo easier to digest.

been looking for a li'l amp with two channels, this one looks like it'll fit the bill quite nicely - depending on where the exchange rate leaves the pricing. it'll be a nice companion to me vox, too.

It does have a clean channel. In one of the Chris George demo's (the first 2 vids on this thread) Chris was using the clean channel, but had it dimed so that it gave a bit of crunch.

fair enough.. and noted.. i heard him saying the clean channel was dimed, but i want to hear a clean clean channel.. just my opinion though!

and i don't think you're going to hear much to beat your albion in the clean department, norm - not in the same price bracket, even for a good few clicks more, for that matter. now, if only they made a low-output, two-channel, all-tube albion, i'd be sorted. even attenuated, that 35w demon is too much for me... i really, really shoulda picked up that 35w combo all those months ago - but i think i made the right decision based on output.

was at toms this morning dropping of my sg for a setup. spoke to justin, who phoned me back - sl-5s are landing some time around june. i'll definitely be looking at one of these things quite seriously as a companion to me vox.

if that clean is anything approaching the albion, and 'the price is right', it'll be n.a.d. for me...

but some amps sound great on OD, but their clean channel sounds pants..
so im always curious to hear the "true" cleans too ?

Whole vid is entertaining but there's a bit of clean tone demoed at around 11:00. Oh, and a Strat at about 13:00.
