Where's a good place to get pickup covers at a good price locally?
I've got a set of black Toneriders on the way but lets just be honest.... Nickel and gold covers just look better! ?
So anyway like the question says, where can I get gold or nickel covers that aren't absurdly expensive branded ones? (Yes gibson I'm talking about you! >☹)

I think Bothner's have the Mighty mite covers. Not great though...

Also be aware there are three different polepiece spacings...

Is there a bothners in the jhb Pretoria area? And I take it the tonerider use the vintage 49mm spacing? And the same with Gibson's 57 classic and Burstbuckers?

AFAIK, the Gibsons always have the narrow spacing, which is 1-15/16" (49.2mm). The Toneriders, it's easy enough to measure them to make sure, but I think they are the same.

Some manufacturers round the Gibson spacing off to 50mm, which I find is off just enough to annoy me - you can still squeeze the poles in, but they don't look as nice... There are also variations on the F-spaced spacing, with 52 and 53mm being the most common.
