The actual tuner, yeah. It's screwed into the headstock tightly enough, so I'm assuming it's something inside the tuner...

Try a drop of oil - preferably remove the tuner, apply a single drop of oil through the oil hole on the back, rotate it a few times and wipe any excess oil off and refit. Is this the Vintage?
Thanks for the advice, I shall try that on the morrow and report back ? Is there a specific oil I should be using? And yes, it's the Vintage.
