The reason I am here is that I have a project on the go, repairing an old messed up Spanish guitar- Madrid Oct 1956, split cracked, but a good excuse to see what I can come up with ito repairs. Need to source hot hide glue, yellow carpenters glue, aliphatic glue.....small amount needed, anyone that can point me in the right direction.

The Alcolin "professional" (red label) is an aliphatic resin based glue (it is also yellow btw). Any hardware store, almost . . . :-[
Ponal also has the same, just can't think of the name of it . . . . .. right now.
I think either of these should serve your purpose.
