3D printed guitars

So I was doing some reading for a 3D printing project and I found this:

imagine the possibilities... custom designing a guitar for the ultimate tonal qualities and simply printing it.

3D printing is something I have high hopes for. Not just for printing guitar bodies, but things like prosthetic limbs, everyday house-hold tailor-made for a person, being able to design a children's toy, sending that design in AutoCAD format to other people over the internet and having them being able to print it out for their children, figurines, scale models... The uses are infinite. We live in interesting times, people. Now only if the cost of 3D printers would come down further.

Also I wonder how long it will be until the word "toneplastics" comes to exist ?
