Fedex SCAM warning

i got this email this morning, my first ever scam email i got in all these years using gmail.

this is in the email:

Dear Client,

Your parcel has arrived at February 8.Courier was unable to deliver the parcel to you at 8 February 06:33 PM.

To receive your parcel, please, print this receipt and go to the nearest office.

watch out, and don't click on anything, a quick search did reveal the truth. if you click on Print receipt its a trojan horse.

I've also received a few of these in recent months. Happily my Gmail marked them as spam automatically. Annoying, nonetheless.

That'd be a pretty obvious clue, yes... ?

Its like people who get an email from absa, but they bank with fnb ( or any combination you like) and then still go click on the links. those people deserve what they get imo! generally some nasty virus, and those same people most likely dont have antivirus either!

Yeah, that I've never understood - clicking on links from a bank that you have nothing to do with... Why would ABSA ask me to change my password when I've never banked with them?!

I get an average of 2-3 of these emails a day, the latest are all variations of the Fedex scam, from USP and others as well...

I got one yesterday from USPS, prob is that i'm waiting for a few parts from various ''suppliers'' on e-bay. Nonetheless, i deleted it straight off.
