It's often allowed in modern pieces. Not received well in classical exams if the piece is romantic, baroque or renaissance. They'll hang you by your peepee.

When I used to play on my old Yamaha classical guitar vertical vibrato didn't even work for me: just made a rather awful scratchy noise.

My real name is Warren. The only classical guitar I've ever owned was bought for me by my folks for my 18th birthday, so it probably isn't me ?
