For the record, I was referring to the "Friday Funny" title of this thread, which popped up in "Recent Posts". I thought CDee was referring to avoiding Valentine's because I thought it was already Friday (hence, if it were already Friday I'd avoid the parliament chaos). I was posting whilst working - as distractedly as texting while driving - and only saw the first Elton quote from last week. Blonde moment.
Only just registered the Oscar jokes and I also find them a bit rof.
