DDR4LYF It's been a good day, but this evening just topped it! I managed to get a friend's project finished up. A box to split one cell phone signal into 5 outputs. Just need to finish up the cables! Then I read that someone made their own Klon buffer. So I thought, "I wonder how complex those are to make?". So I found a vero board plan and what do you know... I had all the parts except one cap! Oh my goodness I could have so built one of these... Wait, my brother is studying electrical engineering... "LITTLE BROTHER, GIVE ME A 47uF CAP RIGHT NOW" and he had one in his pile of completely unorganized electronic components! WHOOOOOOOOO! So I built a little Klon buffer and it worked FIRST TIME! When does that ever happen? I am on a roll... must do something else while the iron is hot (quite literally). Enter my old Proco Rat copy that me and a friend built. It worked fine, but the switch was busted and so sometimes I would have to stomp on it a couple times to get the sound to come out. Also it was a DPDT switch so it had no on/off LED. So I replaced it with a 3pdt switch and put in a weird green colored LED (the only one I had). And that didn't break while I was trying to repair it. Another successful project! DDR4LYF My new Klon buffer. I haven't thought of a casing for it... My Proco Rat copy now with working switch and on/off LED. What do you think of the Rat casing? Maybe something similar for the buffer?
