Ibanez ATK 5 string bass pricing advice

How much would you say is a reasonable asking price for one of these:

A guy I know is looking to sell and I though I'd ask for some advice.

Couple of the usual questions before I could try and answer....

What condition is it in? Is it working 100%?
What model is it? I'm assuming its the ATK405?
Will it be sold with/without a case?

As far as I know, the case in the pic is included and it's in 100% working condition. Will get more details.

Hmmmm... On closer inspection, I'm guessing its an ATK 305, in which case, its the 'entry level' of the ATK range, so I'd have to hazard a guess it would be worth about R2500 to R3500, but I can't remember their SRP? I remember seeing a ATK 4 string for R5k somewhere new, but can't remember if that was the ATK300 or ATK400?

Realistically though, I'd say thats what he should be looking at, off the top of my head, but its a decent buy for anyone wanting to get in to bass, as these things rock!

I'll do a bit more digging around and see if I can perhaps be a little more certain, but thats what I reckon, assuming it is a 305?

Okay, I have a bit more info:

The case in the pic is included
The bass is in 100% working condition
Cannot find the model number but I have the serial number now - anyone know of any Ibby websites that I can type the serial no. into and find out more info?

No new owner yet (and it won't be me - I like my strings in even numbers) - just trying to find info for a friend who wants to sell.
Anyone know where I can find the model no. if I have the serial?
EDIT: according to this site:http://www.guitardaterproject.org/ibanez.aspx it's a 1995 model -can't find anything else.

And Big G, I think you're right - it does seem to be a 305 - I'd just like to be able to confirm.

With the case in very good condition, I'd say R3k was a fair price, but he may get lucky at R4k? They are one of the best basses around for the money, and hard to beat.
