That would be a damn shame since all I ever see in there are Electromatics.

I saw a Gretsch (way over-priced for an electromatic anyway...) at Marshall Music Cape Town a long while back. However I think GuitarTone in Somerset West may still have the real deal available. Good luck.

I saw a Gretsch (way over-priced for an electromatic anyway...) at Marshall Music Cape Town a long while back. However I think GuitarTone in Somerset West may still have the real deal available. Good luck.

They've got a TV Jones White Falcon, very pretty. I'm specifically wanting a Black Penguin, or at least a ballpark figure on one but FROM the dealer. Would also like to chat about doing some rep work for them and if that's even possible.

Feedback (Fender SA) are the distributors, part of the Bothner Group Holdings. Yes they do do endorsements if you are well known and a good player. Contact them.

Guitartone has a White Falcon and a Country Gentleman. Bothners Plumstead had a Setzer sig and a bunch of electromatics last I was there. Unfortunately, that's what sells.

I've not seen the Setzer sig, but definitely played a bunch of the Electromatics, bought my 5120 from there actually. The Setzer Sig is a solid guitar, it's a pity that the Electromatics are priced as they are and that they are the main representation of the brand here.

I'm currently applying for an endorsement from Bothners but I have not tried/asked about a direct endorsement from Fender/Gretsch. I will research that option more. Thanks for the assistance Alan! I think I need to make a trip to Napier sometime and drop off a good bottle of wine at your place!

If I don't misread you ?...no it's an orange-reddish hollow-body archtop with "dice"control knobs.
