Go to youtube and check out the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. I don't recall them doing any Sabbath numbers, but they do do the Sex Pistols and a stomping version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Little is safe or sacred.

I'm told the uke is very popular in the UK at the moment as it is now the most commonly used instrument for music instruction.
Certainly youtube is full of people who are playing on ukes the sort of stuff you wouldn't automatically associate with that instrument, so I'd imagine there's a demand there.
