Attila I am looking at installing a PFSense firewall/proxy server on our network, can some one help with config onsite. All is installed just needs to be configured correctly Simple setup 192.168.10.0/24 Switch -> 192.168.10.200/24 (LAN) PFsense Server 192.168.0.1/24 (WAN) -> 192.168.0.2/24 ADSL Router - WWW
aja can't help you with that, but in case you (or others) are looking for a solid, free, commercial quality, stand-alone firewall, give this one a try: www.untangle.com very very easy to setup...
Heath what do you need setup , i use pfsense for our production server and works really great i would assume you have setup you lan / wan interfaces and the dns servers under system - general setup and gateway setup under system - routing and and a firewall rule setup for the internal to break out to the net
Attila Hi I got it up and running plugged it in and got it working in vanilla form, I dont know too much about all the other setup options hence I need some one to look it over for me.
aja Attila Barath wrote Only the lite version is free Yes that's true but it does the job for what we want at work.
