Let me explain.
I never win prizes, ever.
Somehow heard that if I "liked" the ACME guitar works facebook site AND sent them an email with my address AND was one of the 50th to do so, they would send me something.
When I went to their fb site

I saw I wasn't in the first 50 "likes".
But hell I really
do like ACME.
Once I ordered a strat pickguard; cover plate and screws from them.
George quickly sent me an email to say I may have ordered the wrong stuff because the colour of the pickguard and cover plate weren't the same ... and I'd ordered counter-sunk screws and the pickguard wasn't countersunk.
He asked if he could please substitute the cover plate for a matching one and countersink the pickguard to match the screws.
I said yes ... and he did.
I was really impressed!
So ... I "liked" the fb page and sent a brief email along the lines of:
"Hi ... Don't think I'm in the top 50 ... and you must have my address details on your records anyway from previous shipments... Neville"
Seemed good enough for them.
Got my little promotional ACME screwdriver from them yesterday.
AND ... makes me feel like I won something!
Yay!
