As if my guitars and amps were not enough I just got these two today. about a weeks apart. Running them both now
1) a 59 bassman (handwired by Stu Daddy amps into a pine cab) Sounds great and super ckean.
2) 1974 Deluxe reverb, wgs speaker, running 100%. With Roadcase.

Thats what I am taking on tour.

Very jealous of that bassman. A '59 in good order turned up loud is one of the great sounds of the world.

Keep us up to date on your tour so us poor Saffers can live vicariously through you ?

Oh no not all four ... that would be terrible and expensive and a can would need to be a bus.
Just the bassman and deluxe reverb.
Before it was the Orange and silverface bassman. Which was on the tail end of the bassman, dr z shows.

I get to own a lot of stuff but its mostly due to the fact that trades are so so so easy here. In SA if someone gets some good gear they keep it. I know fot a fact if I want a Dr z bad enough I could get one pretty fast of some guy who wants a trade.

USA is USA, its got its perks and its got its loonies.

One constant it seems is my thing for bassman, wether blackfacem silver, or now tweed 'i always seem to not be far from one. Even back in SA with my ever cool Fender Bassman 10.
