Listen, who in that sport doesnt do it? I remember a couple months ago seeing a little snot on TV with such a manufactured story of how he was a team mate and felt obliged to take stuff as well. I say open professional sport up to doping. Trying to stop it is costing money and trouble and quite honestly, the guys that caught are the guys that arent clever enough.

So the question are we going to nail him? Or should it be are we going to nail the guys that get caught and still worship the skelms that dont.

Not really. You need to look at the whole picture. He is coming clean because his team have all testified against him.

What makes everyone angry is that he was so arrogant about being the best and he lied on so many occasions. So many believed how he came back from cancer to win was by his sheer desire and nothing else.

I even read his books and was quite impressed by his achievements and too find out that it was all a sham does make you feel a bit robbed.

To a lot of people he was a hero, it's like a Milli Vanilli situation

I reckon if they can't police it they should just embrace it. Make the steroids (or whatever they take) part of the whole thing. Like you've got a bike brand, you've got your perf enhancing drug brand too, it'll open up a whole new world of sponsorship. They could even have promo inserts during the race in which they shoot up with their drug of choice while in the saddle giving thumbs up to the camera.

I believe we should legalize all doping in sport. I want to see how big and fast we can get these SOB’s to go. I want to see bleeding nostrils and literally bursting hearts after the first man finishes the Tour De France in 2 days (non stop), or the 100 meters in 2.6 seconds.

Wow, that would be a cool Olympics! I'd watch that!

IMO - This guy is the Organ Grinder when it comes to making money - together with his organisation they manipulated the cycling world for years and now they've just traded the bicycle in for the media circus. He's not just one normal human being on his lonesome 'coming clean', he is part of a corporation that has just swung into gear, making the most out of their previous failure. There is no such thing as bad publicity!

He is the best, he's never been arrogant, and, he did come back from a death bed to become the greatest cyclist ever.
Do you think the "drugs" he took during the TDF made him survive the chemo he went through to survive..he first had to survive and then win TDF?

With drugs or without, he still would have won all the TDF he won, because the other cyclists who finished in the top 10 were all using the same drugs...so if they were all clean, Lance was still the best of them.

So he technically wasn't at a disadvantage.... Whereas my personal hero, Michael Phelps, put himself at a major disadvantage and still won! He was smoking marijuana then swimming... I need to clarify my feelings here. ?

I am a massive Lance Armstrong fan, also a massive Roger Federer, Nadal, Tiger Woods and Michael Phelps fan...basically a fan of all GREAT sportsman.

After watching the interview with Oprah I am an even bigger Lance fan because I've seen another side of him, or the NEW side of him that I respect.

I think when the Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, Michael Jackson, Hansie Cronje "stories" come out, you either choose to "understand" or you don't, I choose to understand.

Tomorrow I'll go out and buy one or two "Livestrong" wristbands to show respect to the new Lance Armstrong.
