Free give-away bigsby type trem up for grabs

If you read i just aquired a vintage hofner that joel had restored by grant fouche and the tremelo they used was an ibanez bigsby clone in perfect condition. .... Having bought the guitar.....i today i had the bigsby trem removed and another non trem tailpiece fitted....
Not a bigsby fan ...

So anyone want a bigsby type trem for free ......

Only condition is you must not sell it ... As in i don't wanna see it advertised on gumtree next wk .. But give it away for free if you can't use it .....

Obviously you must fetch it , i'm not shipping anything ....

And not giving to a tech to keep in his stocks who will install it on someones guitar for a fee ...

So a freebee for a bigsby fan who want one for their personal use

Chocklit_Thunda, I think you should take it - it sounds like you have a guitar that's in need of a Bigsby. I'm back to studenthood and the accompanying wallet shrinkage this year so the guitar I'd put it on is a way off still and not even certain anyway (still got heavy GAS though? ).

I'll probably collect it soon but I'll have to wait for this set of strings to die before I fit it on ? (Strings are too expensive to waste!)
Also gonna see if there's a way of fitting it without drilling before I make unnecessary holes

I have but sadly it won't work on an archtop like my Catalina ☹
The vibes mate requires a 2 post stop tailpiece like a les paul to work because it latches into that and then the bigsby screws into it whereas my Yorkie has a floating trapeze type tailpiece and a non fixed bridge
I'm thinking double sided mounting tape and rubber/synthetic pads to stop it from sliding would be an idea?

As for strings, I bought a bulk pack of Ernie ball 10's and d'addario chrome 13's from the USA
Was way cheaper that way ?
