If you i jhb pop into marshall music and check out the gibson custom shop es 330 vintage reissue .... Played it today and wow .... Lovely instrument wit an amazing finish ... Tonally it was what i expected this has P 90 's
i had to force myself to step away from it ? ..... It suited my playing style but not my bank balance ... Discounted it was 38k SA RANDS.... But not too out of wack with usa prices ... They list for $4700 us dollars ....
If i had the cash .... Yes i would spend it on this ... I was that impressed ...
Apparantly there are cheaper models available ...

Gee, at that price, I wonder what my 1967 model is worth. I haven't checked the Blue Book for a while. (Not that I'm thinking of selling it of course).

Those P90 equipt Gibsons are really great sounding instruments. The P90 pup is sooo versatile and with a touch of reverb it sounds out of this world...real classy old school.

They are great guitars. The list price is obscene though. They can be had for 3k US new, or around 2500-2700 if you go the Ebay Route. The earlier ES 330L's can be had for even less. If you have a MyUS account, shipping it here will be around $240.
