I broought back one of the TC Ditto loop pedals from the UK yesterday.

It's the Dog's danglers.

Very small size, up to 5 minutes recording and only one swith.

Check it out you'll be impressed.

Checked out the TC marketing babble as well, looks very cool. If it were designed for guitarists, then why does it not solve the problem of putting too much drive into your poweramp when playing over a recorded track? It sounds fine while you are recording, but as soon as you play over the loop (having turned yourself up to hear the lead over the back track) you get too much distortion...

it does look nice.. but only a loop isnt for me.. i wonder if they'll bring out a bigger brother soon?!

The beauty of this is it's simplicity.
Just one button works for me.
Having tried it out for a while now I can vouch for the true bypass, and I can record a full song and then play over it.

They did a while ago in 1985. It is called a 2290 and does delays as well ?
If you want something that does more than the Ditto, go for the Flashback. It loops and does another 10 delay types.

if JIMC can find my Strymon El Cap and send it over to me, i'll have a similar looper in there!

No USB Norman, as I said SIMPLICITY works for me.

Won't all loopers do this?

I really like the simplicity. It seems cool having a looper separate from a delay pedal so that they can be used together! I like the idea a lot!

That was my point: I have been hoping that TC E or some other high end company would solve this issue some day soon. It would certainly be the only reason for me to go profiling amps.

Does the Flashback not have the ability to loop as well as delay, independently?

flashback can only loop, or delay unfortunately.
the fb x4 might be able to though..
my strymon el cap on the other hand can loop and delay at the same time! albeit only around 20 to 40 seconds worth..
